Hachani sworn in as Prime Minister of Tunisia

Ahmed Hachani was appointed the new PM of Tunisia today following the sacking of the country’s first female Prime Minister Najla Bouden. President Kais Saeid offered no official explanation behind the dismissal of Bouden. Her government has been seen by many as being incapable of solving economic and social crisises in Tunisia. Hachani, a former human resources director at Tunisia’s central bank, was sworn in at the Carthage Palace the presidency confirmed.
