Officials say Libyan authorities found almost 50 bodies of migrants in two mass graves in the country’s southeastern desert, reported Africa News on February 9th.

19 bodies were found on February 7th in a farm in the city of Kufra.

This is not the first time migrant mass graves have been discovered in Libya. Last year, authorities unearthed the bodies of at least 65 migrants in Shuayrif, a region 350km (220 miles) south of capital Tripoli.
