Kremlin says new US policy ‘largely’ coincides with Russia’s vision

The Kremlin said on March 2nd that the new US foreign policy configuration of the Trump administration “largely” coincides with Russia’s vision, reported Anadolu Ajansi.

“The new (US) administration is rapidly changing all foreign policy configurations. This largely coincides with our vision,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with state TV channel Rossiya-1 recorded February 26th, with an excerpt shared on Telegram by journalist Pavel Zarubin.

Peskov described the fact that both Russia and the US voted the same way on a UN General Assembly resolution on Ukraine late in February as “truly unimaginable.”
