The EU and UAE are set to open talks over a free trade agreement after a phone call between President von der Leyen and Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
According to Reuters, the key sectors for the agreement include trade in goods and services, especially renewable energy and critical raw materials.
The prospected agreement is set to improve market access and services while advancing opportunities in manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and artificial intelligence.
