Alegian-Ghanian relations are reportedly “excellent” according to Ghana’s Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who highlighted shared commitments to deepen cooperation on April 30th.

According to AL24 News, talks with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune focused on establishing joint defense initiatives in response to growing instability in the Sahel, with Algeria in full support of Ghana’s mediation efforts in the region.

The two nations also signed a visa exemption deal for diplomatic passport holders and plan to expand it to regular travelers to boost trade and exchange.
