Kenyan MP shot dead in Nairobi
A Kenyan MP named Charles Ong’ondo Were has been shot and killed in a suspected assassination attempt on the streets of the capital of Nairobi, as reported by BBC News on May 1st.
According to local police, the attackers had been trailing his car for some time before finally one of the men stepped off the bike to shoot the MP in his car.
Local press reported that the MP had been complaining of threats to his life some time.
