Drones launched by Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) struck multiple sites in Port Sudan on May 6th, including the airport, an ammunition depot, and a hotel near the Presidential Palace, as reported by The National.

The attack, the third in as many days, prompted airport evacuations, flight suspensions, and fires that sent thick smoke over the Red Sea city.

While no casualties were reported, the strikes mark a sharp escalation in the conflict, targeting critical infrastructure in Sudan’s de facto capital.
