Azerbaijan is still selling oil to Israel, sources say

Azerbaijan is still selling oil to Israel according to sources, despite formally ending oil sales in 2024, Middle East Eye via Haaretz reported on June 9th.

Recently, Azerbaijan withdrew oil sales to Israel from its custom records, following increases in exports to Israel which amounted to more than a million tons by last year. The records show that exports to Israel ended in October at the time of the Gaza conflict.

But according to Haaretz, sources from Israel have said that the oil sales are still going on, with one source saying Israel has “nothing to worry about.”
