Convoy heading for Gaza departs from Tunisian capital

A convoy heading for Gaza made up of citizens from a number of North African countries, including Libya, has set off from the Tunisian capital of Tunis on June 9th, according to Middle East Eye.
The convoy was scheduled to pass through Tunis before moving through Egypt and the Rafah crossing, which is located in the Egyptian-Palestinian border.
The United Nations, describes Gaza as the “hungriest place on Earth,” where almost half a million face a food crisis, illness and death.
