Israel strikes Yemeni port in retaliatory attack on Houthis

The Israeli military said that it launched a strike on Hodeida port in Yemen on June 10th in retaliation against Houthi attacks on Israel, France 24 with AFP reported.
The military said that missile ships from Israel’s navy hit “terror targets” of the Houthis, in retaliation against the “aggression of the Houthi terrorist regime.” The military also said that the strikes were launched to prevent the port from being used for “military purposes” and explained that the port had been “used to transfer weapons.”
Israel Katz, Israel’s Defence Minister, reaffirmed that Houthi attacks on Israel will be met with strong retaliation.
