Libyan delegation visits China to discuss future reconstruction
A Libyan delegation led by Belgacem Hafter, son of Khalifa Haftar and Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, is visiting major Chinese cities to discuss building partnerships across multiple sectors, according to Libya Review on July 2nd.
The Development and Reconstruction fund hopes to accelerate economic recovery and reconstruction in Libya by cooperating with Chinese expertise.
The delegation explored expanding renewable energy sources and modernizing water supply systems, introducing advanced IT systems and developing skills amongst Libya’s young people.
