Morocco has further deepened its ties with France through the unveiling of a project that would bring a French aerospace manufacturer, Safran, to Morocco, according to a report from the Moroccan government-friendly North Africa Post on October 15th.

In attendance at the project’s opening on October 13th was Morocco’s King Mohammed VI; the project signals a growing industrial and military alliance between France and the North African Kingdom.

This is the latest initiative between the two nations, as previously reported on October 7th, France and Morocco planned to hold a joint military exercise called “Charqi 2025”.

More to follow.
