Morocco’s aerospace industry endorsed by French firm

The CEO and board member of France’s Safran Group, a leading aerospace manufacturing company, has endorsed Morocco as an industry hub, according to a report by the Moroccan government-friendly North Africa Post via Maghreb Arabe Press on October 16th.

Olivier Andriès told the “Good Morning Business” programme that Safran “chose to invest in the aircraft engine complex in Nouaceur based on the welcoming conditions, talent, and infrastructure.”

These comments came after Safran unveiled its project which intends to make Morocco a key location of aerospace manufacturing, during an an event attended by King Mohammed VI on October 13th.
