UK: Oxford University continues to invest in Israel

The University of Oxford has continued to invest in companies linked to Israel’s human rights violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, according to a Middle East Eye analysis on October 16th.

Amongst the 49 companies that have been identified by the UN and human rights groups as complicit in Israeli crimes is Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest defence contractor.

Elbit Systems supplies at least 85% of the drones used by the Israeli military, including during the country’s war on Gaza that the UN concluded was a genocide on September 16th.
