On October 20th, Morocco made history as the first Arab nation to win the under-20 FIFA World Cup after winning the final against Argentina, Reuters has reported.

The final took place at the Julio Martinez Pradanos Stadium in Santiago, Chile, where Morocco’s victory was spearheaded by man-of-the-match Yassir Zabiri, who scored both goals of the 2-0 win.

This is Argentina’s second time losing an under-20 final, after their defeat by Brazil in 1983, but it remains the most successful nation in the history of the tournament, holding six titles.
