Occupied West Bank: Israeli demolition begins

Israeli forces have started a demolition operation in Wadi Rahal, south of Bethlehem within the Occupied West Bank, as reported by the Middle East Eye via Al Jazeera on November 3rd.

The demolition could be linked to the E1 settlement plan, which would enable the expansion of Israeli settlements through the construction of over 3,400 new homes.

The plan would split the West Bank and endanger the prospect of a Palestinian state. Occupied East Jerusalem would become isolated under the Israeli plan, while Ramallah and Bethlehem would be separated.
