Morocco is the only African country to be included in a $303.6 million U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract for F-16 fighter jet radar repair and support services, according to the Moroccan government-friendly North Africa Post via Business Insider Africa, on November 24th.

The contract is part of the Pentagon’s Cyber Resiliency Program, which aims to strengthen digital systems against cyber threats and enhance the resilience of military aircraft.

Morocco’s defence budget is expected to increase by 17.6% to $15.7 billion in 2026, as the Kingdom strengthens its ties with India, Israel, and France.
