Israeli settlers reportedly crossed into the Gaza Strip in an effort to seize land on Palestinian territory, according to The New Arab and agencies on December 11th.

Footage emerged of the far-right Israelis crossing into Gaza, and entering north of the Beit Lahia area. The settlers put up tents and planted an olive tree.

The breach reportedly occurred within the so-called “yellow line“, which represents the area of Gaza under Israeli occupation. The settlers were stopped by the Israeli army and returned to Israeli land.
