Morocco’s growth projected to reach 4.5% in 2026
Morocco’s national growth is expected to reach 4.5 percent in 2026, after 2025 surpassed expectations with a growth rate of 4.8 percent, according to a report in Moroccan government-friendly Yabiladi on 6th January.
These figures represent the highest growth rates since the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting the resilience of non-agricultural sectors, particularly services and industry, alongside an increase in public and private investment, according to a report by Standard Chartered Global Research.
The report also said: “The ongoing disinflation is supporting household consumption, while tourism revenues and remittances from Moroccans abroad remain strong, contributing to demand stability.”
