Growing up in Gaza is “inspiring for poets” says podcast host
The Palestinian poet and podcast host, Mohammed Moussa, has said that growing up in Gaza provides inspiration for poets, as reported by Maghrebi Week on January 26th.
Moussa, who is also the founder of the Gaza Poets Society, which is the first spoken word group in Gaza, said: “Growing up in Gaza
is inspiring for poets – life here is poetry blown into pieces and scattered all over the place.”
His poetry collection, “The face before you: To write poetry on genocide”, will be released on February 25th and attempts to present the Palestinian experience of the war on the enclave.
