Tunisia reaffirms Libyan-Led path to resolving political crisis
Tunisian President Kais Saied has reaffirmed Tunisia’s uncompromising position on Libya’s political crisis, as reported by Maghrebi Week on February 2.
He stressed that any solution must be Libyan-led and free from foreign interference, aligning closely with Algeria’s long-standing stance that external involvement only deepens divisions and instability.
The remarks come as Libya remains subject to competing foreign agendas and continued arms flows despite a UN embargo, reinforcing Tunis and Algiers’ call for sovereign, inclusive dialogue.
