Morocco establishes crisis phone line for citizens in the Middle East
Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched an emergency phone line to support Moroccan nationals living in the Middle East, reports the pro-Moroccan Yabiladi and agencies on March 2nd.
The ministry said the measures were introduced to assist Moroccan citizens in countries affected by the ongoing escalation of violence in the region and will enable them to remain in contact with the authorities.
Hotlines have also been opened at Moroccan embassies in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan. Moroccan nationals are advised to exercise caution and comply with instructions issued by local authorities.
