Libya used CERAWeek 2026 in Houston to discuss new energy investment, technology transfer and stronger foreign partnerships, as reported by The Libya Gazette on March 30th.

NOC chairman Masoud Suleiman met U.S. officials and major companies, including Eni, Shell, Chevron, BP and Baker Hughes, to promote production growth and Libya’s next phase of oil and gas expansion.

The outreach shows Libya seeking to present its hydrocarbons sector as open, investable, and strategically important, despite the political and operational risks that still shape the industry.
