Suspected Iranian oil moved through Hormuz by ‘zombie’ ships
Ships using false identities have reportedly been moving suspected Iranian oil through the Strait of Hormuz, The Libya Gazette reported on March 30th.
The vessels, described as “zombie” ships, use details from scrapped tankers to evade detection and transfer cargo at sea.
Data showed one vessel unloaded cargo near Oman before returning towards Iran, indicating a structured shuttle operation.
