Zambia declares fuel emergency as global disruptions hit
Zambia has declared a fuel supply emergency as shortages linked to disruptions to global fuel supply began affecting availability across the country, Africanews reported on 6 April.
Long queues formed at petrol stations and some outlets ran out of stock as logistical challenges disrupted fuel deliveries nationwide.
The government said it was working to stabilise supplies and prioritise essential services while seeking additional shipments to ease the shortage.
