Morocco receives delivery of Apache attack helicopters
As the global arms race escalates, Morocco has strengthened its defence capabilities with the delivery of AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters, as reported by Maghrebi Week on April 13th.
Produced by US aerospace company Boeing, this is the second set of Apache helicopters the Royal Moroccan Air Force has received, following the Kingdom’s receipt of six helicopters in March 2025.
Widely considered the most powerful attack helicopters, Morocco’s version reportedly features advanced specifications. The delivery is part of a $1.5 billion contract between the Kingdom and the US, under which Morocco purchased 24 Apache helicopters to strengthen its defence capabilities against short-range threats.
