G7 pushes to limit economic fallout from Iran war
G7 finance chiefs said it was urgent to limit the global economic fallout from a prolonged Middle East war, Reuters reported on 16 April.
They reaffirmed the pressing need to move toward a lasting peace during talks held alongside IMF and World Bank spring meetings in Washington.
Discussions also covered securing critical mineral supply chains and support for Ukraine, according to a statement issued by France, which holds the G7 presidency.
