Morocco: pushing AI to face security and governance issues
Morocco wants to put artificial intelligence (AI) at the centre of the future of its security and governance whilst maintaining awareness of AI’s impact on national stability, according to Moroccan-friendly Atalayar on April 16th.
In this respect, Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, expressed caution over the development of AI in the ministerial meeting of the African Union Peace and Security Council.
Bourita reportedly discussed how advancements in AI can affect how information is presented, whereby it could lead to serious conflict within the public, when information is misinterpreted.
