Algeria’s FLN gets most seats in parliamentary elections with record low turnout

The National Liberation Front (FLN) won the most seats in Algeria’s parliamentary elections. They secured 90 out of 407 spots on July 2, 2026.

This vote saw a record-low turnout of only 21 per cent. The process also faced significant controversy because the government disqualified many candidates.
