US opens FBI office in Algiers to boost security cooperation

The United States has announced the opening of a new FBI office within its embassy in Algiers to strengthen security cooperation.
Announced on the 21st of July, this permanent presence is designed to improve intelligence sharing and cooperation against cross-border crime and terrorism.
