War on Iran: US long-range missile supplies depleted

Despite escalating tensions in the Middle East, the US has reportedly depleted “virtually all” of its long-range precision missiles amid the US-Israeli war on Iran, as reported by Maghrebi Week on August 10th.

Since the war began on February 28th, the US has depleted its supply of surface-to-surface weapons known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM).

Long-range missiles allow the US to accurately target opponents from a distance without relying on aircraft that are vulnerable to air defence systems; so far, the US-Israeli war on Iran has cost the US an estimated $37.5 billion.
