Libya resumes crude oil exports following boycott
Libya has resumed activity at two of its key eastern ports after protesters blocked crude oil loadings for a whole day on January 28th.
According to RigZone, Libya’s National Oil Corp said activity resumed after “discussions held with protesters who conducted a demonstration this morning at the ports.”
Al-Jazeera reported that one protester said “all we want is equality,” and that “the oil is produced in our regions and all we get from it are the toxic fumes.”
