Algeria and Germany sign energy memorandum of understanding

The state gas company Sonelgaz in Algeria and Siemens Energy in Algeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing energy collaboration and innovation on February 6th according to Middle East Monitor.

The agreement was signed by president and CEO of Sonelgaz Mourad Adjal and Siemens Energy CEO Christian Bruch in Berlin, Germany.

A statement from Algeria’s ministry of energy said the agreement includes the development and integration of renewable energy, period maintenance of power production facilities and the sourcing of equipment for power transmission and distribution networks.
