Egypt rejects parallel government in Sudan

Egypt rejects the establishment of a parallel government in Sudan, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry announced on February 23rd according to Anadolu Ajansi.

On February 22nd, Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia along with Sudanese political and armed movements signed “a political charter” in Nairobi, Kenya to establish a government parallel to the army-lead Sudanese authorities.

Sudan’s government criticised Kenya’s hosting of what it called a “conspiracy to establish a government” for the RSF.
