Declan Hayes: Ireland’s war with Libyans

The terrorist links between Ireland and the Maghreb offer more evidence on how NATO continues to hone its globalized supply chain for, whenever terrorists from Continent A are involved in terrorism in Continent B, you can, as our CIA chums say, bet a dime to a dollar that Langley’s paw marks are all over that mayhem.

To better understand the CIA’s supply chain, we are best breaking down the connections between Ireland and the Maghreb into a number of uneven parts. The first of these is how Colonel Gaddafi’s Libya became the armourer for the IRA and how the Semtex he supplied became their most feared weapon. Although Gaddafi dismissed reports of his IRA links as an “imperialist conspiracy theory”, the conspiracy went much further than he imagined. Had Libya’s last supply of arms got through, the IRA could have done very considerable damage with it. As it was, The Yank, The True Story of a Former US Marine in the Irish Republican Army, John Cawley’s excellent autobiography, spells out why that was not going to happen; basically, the IRA leadership were part of the much bigger CIA conspiracy that brought Gaddafi and others like him down.

To get to the roots of that part of the CIA’s global campaign, read Cawley’s book as well as Ed Moloney’s A Secret History of the IRA. First though, you might like to read this entry on Moloney’s blog, where he details the tremendous lengths Libya went to to give their IRA “ambassadors” a cover story. If that whets your appetite, just search for other Libya entries or treat yourself and read his entire blog.

Although Gaddafi is no longer with us and the IRA is trying to follow Don Corleone’s lead by going legitimate, there are some wider lessons in that strange marriage that both Cawley and Moloney allude to. Gaddafi, like Saddam Hussein after him, was led into a CIA trap and, as regards his IRA links, he would have been better off cutting out the IRA middle man and dealing directly with the CIA, who eventually murdered him and ransacked his country.

Although the Irish government had enjoyed good relations with both Libya and Iraq during this time, training their pilots, running their healthcare systems and selling them so much beef that they must have spent their entire waking hours masticating their way through it, such happy stories are not newsworthy. If it bleeds, it leads, as the old maxim has it.

And the fall of Gaddafi and the IRA’s embracing of semi-legitimate ways of turning a buck or two did not end Ireland’s role in spliling blood in the Maghreb or, indeed, feeding off the carcasses of those who died there. Although I previously reviewed Sally Hayden milking the Libyan refugee crisis and books should be written on how the Irish navy flooded Italy with refugees and sundry ISIS terrorists, Ireland has also been a major CIA hub for CIA related terrorism in the Maghreb.

When, in a CIA effort to bring down the moderate Tunisian government, ISIS slaughtered a large number of British tourists, there were at least three Irish fatalities amongst the British dead. To assuage Irish public opinion, the CIA’s main imam in Ireland was immediately on the job, acting as chief mourner and assuring all and sundry, in his arrogant, accented English, that only CIA approved imams like himself spoke for Islam. As the Tunisian slaughter occurred in the middle of the English football season, the Irish and English, their minds on their teams of choice, quickly forgot the Tunisian carnage and reverted, like cows in a meadow, to their docile ways.

Not so the CIA, who use their Irish colony and what passes for Irish politicians as key chess pieces in their quest for global hegemony. Although these Irish politicians, against whom Liz Truss would be a Churchill or a De Gaulle, should probably get a few column inches for form’s sake, they are not worth even that. Plus, there have been other, more lethal forms of aid to the Maghreb from the Emerald isle.

Chief of these is undoubtedly Mahdi al-Harati, who played a pivotal role in destroying Gaddafi’s Libya and installing the slave markets and other trappings of Empire she currently enjoys. This “Irish freedom fighter” and suspected CIA agent founded the banned Islamic terrorist organization, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), which are responsible for a host of war crimes in Libya, England and Syria. In discussing al-Harati’s Syrian invasion force, Reuters reported that “the Libyans aiding the Syrian rebels include specialists in communications, logistics, humanitarian issues and heavy weapons” and that they “operate training bases, teaching fitness and battlefield tactics.”

This report leads us to ask in what part of Dublin did Harati and his fellow cut throats gain and assemble their considerable expertise and how these “Irish” cut throats managed to shift so much weaponry from distant Libya to distant Syria. Either Harati and his fellow mercenaries are very capable and have huge resources or else the CIA, NATO and terrorist groups in league with them handled the logistics. Because NATO, Gulf State and international terrorist groups, including Turkey’s Grey Wolves, helped these “Irish” cut throats move from Libya to Syria, that is a major security concern not only for Syrians but for Ireland, and England, where their volunteers, from their Irish base, perpetrated the Manchester Arena bombing. That being so, Harati and his “Irish” cohorts are very dangerous international terrorists and should be doing the very long jail sentences Irish courts dole out for those convicted of directing those terrorist murder gangs not completely controlled by the CIA

When Harati led the Al Qaeda brigade which besieged the Rixos Hotel in Tripoli in August 2011, Khamis Gaddafi, the Libyan leader’s youngest son, claims French intelligence assigned Harati the missions of capturing the Libyan leaders’ families, who were sheltering in a secret facility of the hotel, and of murdering former congressman and Martin Luther King assistant, Walter Fauntroy, who was staying at the Rixos. French intelligence also assigned Harati the task of murdering two Voltaire Network collaborators, Thierry Meyssan and Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya, who were based at the Radisson Hotel, where al-Harati operated his torture centre

After proving his mettle with numerous war crimes like these in Libya, Harati, with the ever dependable Irish journalist Mary Fitzgerald in tow, decamped to Syria in October 2011, where Qatar organized a base camp on the Turkish border for him, where he hosted gullible Western reporters and spun them yarns about the Syrian and Libyan “revolutions”. Mary Fitzgerald and others regurgitated many of these implausible ISIS yarns through the Irish media.

Although he has a host of war crimes charges to answer from Libya and Syria, Harati may have seen prior “active service.” Former Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar claims Mahdi al-Harati is still wanted in Spain for his involvement in the Madrid bombings of March 11, 2004 and Harati also went on the 2010 Gaza-bound Mavi Marmara “Freedom Flotilla”, either out of conviction or as a MI6 and CIA plant as has been widely alleged, given the accumulation of evidence pointing to that conclusion.

Libyan-Irish “activist” Mahdi al-Harati is shown here at the right kissing notorious Turkish Muslim Brotherhood godfather Turkey’s President Erdoğan at Ataturk Hospital, Ankara on 3 June 2010 where Qatar’s Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Mahmoud was also present. That Harati would be allowed get so familiar with Erdoğan, the man most responsible for the massive loss of life in Syria, tells its own story of Ireland’s complicity in the Muslim Brotherhood’s Syrian and Libyan extermination campaigns.

The fact that Harati openly met these two toerags, who are most responsible not only for the Syrian carnage but also for the logistics behind it, should be a major security concern to Ireland. The further fact that Islamic operatives and their supporters in Ireland tried to get Mohammed al-Arifi, the notorious Saudi Wahhabi preacher and child sex jihad recruiter, who has spoken at seminal Hand in Hand for Syria events in England, to tour Ireland “for a few months” is also a major source of concern, as is the fact that al-Arifi’s Irish and British based contacts and facilitators, which may well include Harati and his throat cutting chums, remain at large. Allied to this, as Irish based Muslim clerics have openly stated that ISIS organise through a number of Irish mosques, two notorious ones in particular, Ireland’s overall balance sheet is dire. Ireland has sent squads of cut throats to rape, enslave and murder Arabs and, thanks to Qatar, Turkey and the CIA, those cut throats have solid organisational networks in Ireland. Harati, then, is just the tip of a very nasty ISIS/CIA/NATO iceberg.

Though I could write more on this, I’ll refrain for now but ask you a favour in return if you have read this far. By all means make all the stupid remarks about the friendly Irish, the peace loving, Guinness drinking, leprechaun chasing Irish that you like. But be under no illusions. Ireland is an intricate part of the U.S.’s war of terror. Not only do U.S. companies run the Irish economy and not only is neutral Ireland’s Shannon airport a major logistical hub for the U.S. Army but Irish based ISIS terrorists are playing leading roles in destroying not only Ukraine, Syria and Iraq but Libya and other parts of the Maghreb as well.
