New Israeli Rail Project Links to Saudis
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announces the ‘One Israel Project’, a 27$ billion railway project connecting Tel Aviv to outlying areas in the country, aiming to reduce travel time within Israel to two hours or less.
The announcement was made following a visit between top U.S. officials to Saudi Arabia last week to discuss the possibility of normalization and relations between Saudi and Israel.
This project could also be expanded to provide a direct overland link between the Saudi Kingdom and the Jewish state in the future.
