At least 24 people died in a bus crash in Azilal, a province in central Morocco on the 6th of August, according to the Saudi news website Asharq Al Awsat.

This was one of the deadliest collisions in the country in recent years as an in depth investigation to determine the cause of the accident will be carried out.

A deadly crash in Morocco’s costal city, Casablanca, in August 2022 left 23 dead.

Local authorities stated the crash happened when a minibus carrying passengers overturned at a curve whilst on the way to the weekly market in the country’s small town of Demnate.
