Algeria withdraws all products from Hupp Pharma
The Algerian Ministry of the Pharmaceutical Industry announced the removal of all products manufactured by Hupp Pharma, a pharmaceutical company, from the market on August 25.
The Ministry, in a statement, cited “non-compliance” with best manufacturing practices as the reason for the recall and the temporary closure of the company’s laboratories.
Hupp Pharma supplies over 60 products to the Algerian market, a report from Algerie Eco maintains.Â
The recall has raised concerns online, with netizens worrying about the potential shortage of medications following the withdrawal of Hupp Pharma’s products.
