Haftar jets off to Moscow to meet Russian President
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin met with Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar on September 28, according to Reuters.
Haftar was welcomed by the under fire Russian leader in Moscow as the pair discussed the difficult situation in Libya and in the region more generally.
It was the first meeting between the two since 2019.
