Spain’s Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares will start his visit to Morocco on December 13.

The trip to the North African country will be Albares’ first since Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who leads the Spanish Socialist Workers Party, was reelected last month.

The Spanish official is set to meet with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita on December 14.

Agence Marocaine De Presse (MAP) reported that the two-day visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations in numerous fields, notably political, economic, commercial and linguistic ones.
