Israeli airstrike kills two in Damascus
A February 21st Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Kafr Sousa, Damascus killed two people, according to Reuters.
Syrian state TV cited a military source who claimed that the 9:40AM (06:40 GMT) strike also wounded several other people, but that the attack “did not achieve its aims.”
Kafr Sousa hosts residential buildings, schools, and Iranian cultural centres, with a state security services complex nearby. An Israeli airstrike on the neighbourhood killed 15 people on February 19th, 2023.
