Algeria announces summit with Libya and Tunisia
Algeria’s President Abdelmajid Tebbounce said on October 16th that there will be an “imminent” summit with Libya and Tunisia, according to Middle East Monitor via Anadolu.
“We are about to meet in Libya soon, within the framework of the Algeria-Tunisia-Libya trilateral consultations,” said Tebboune after meeting the Libya’s Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, according to Algerian radio. “We are currently awaiting a date to be set by President Al-Menfi.”
The trilateral summit was first held in April in Tunisia, and Al-Menfi committed to holding these summits regularly.
