New acting foreign minister appointed by Sudanese army chief

Sudanese army chief Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has appointed a new acting foreign minister, according to the Arab News via Reuters. This follows a cabinet decision on November 3rd.

In a statement, Burhan’s office said that foreign minister Hussein Awad Ali has been relieved of his duties, with his replacement being Ali Youssef Ahmed.
