Tunisia: Tourism revenue surges to .3bn

Tunisia’s tourism revenue’s have grown by a significant 7.8 percent in 2024, to $3.2bn, according to the MiddleEastMonitor on December 27th.

With more than ten million tourists though to have visited the North African country this year, record revenues are looking increasingly likely for the sector this year.

The major advance of the industry this year is a stark contrast to Tunisia’s woes of 2023, where aside from the first pandemic year of 2020, the country experienced its lowest economic growth in a decade.
