Morocco receives Turkish drones amid regional tensions
Morocco has received Turkish drones as country seeks to bolster its defense capabilities.
According to MoroccoWorldNews, Baykartech, a private Turkish defense company, confirmed the delivery of Bayraktar TB2 drones to Morocco on January 5th.
Since 2021, Morocco has been using drones to wage war against the Polisario Front in Western Sahara, utilizing the UAVs to counter incursions by the gorilla group into Moroccan held territory.
