Mozambique: Post-election chaos forces thousands to flee

Thousands are fleeing Mozambique into neighbouring Malawi and Estwatini as violence and crime ravage the country.
According to NorthAfricaPost on January 5th, the aftermath of the disputed October presidential elections has seen an estimated 3000 people seek refuge.
Unrest has reportedly claimed hundreds of lives, and those that have fled tell how their villages were attacked and looted, forcing them to cross the deadly Shire River to escape.
