Tibet: Major earthquake kills at least 95 people
At least 95 people have been killed after a major earthquake rocked Tibet on January 7th, according to Al-Jazeera.
The magnitude 7.1 quake struck at 9:05am local time (1:05am GMT), followed by dozens of aftershocks, which has left many others injured and trapped.
Some 1,500 firefighter and rescue workers were deployed to search for people in the rubble, with the worst hit towns being in remote, hard to access, mountain areas.
