Morocco extradites head of drug gang to France
The alleged leader of the “Yoda” clan, one of Marseille’s biggest drug gangs, has been extradited from Morocco to France following an arrest last year, reported RFI on January 21st.
This comes as lawmakers in France are preparing to debate a bill to tighten measures against drug trafficking in the country.
Félix Bingui, 34, was arrested on March 8th last year in Casablanca. The next month, at a hearing at the Rabat court of cassation, he agreed to be extradited to France.
