France arrests sixth Algerian influencer over inciting violence

French authorities arrested another Algerian influencer on January 22nd, as tensions continue to escalate between the Mediterranean neighbours.
According to The New Arab, French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said detainee “Rafik M” had called on his TikTok audience to carry out “violent acts on French territory”.
“Rafik M” is the sixth Algerian influencer to be arrested in France in recent months over allegations of incitement to violence.
