Fears in Tunisia of Syrian jihadists return
Tunisia fears the return of jihadists as relative peace hangs over Syria following the fall of the Assad Dynasty.
According to World Crunch on January 27th, Tunisia as a country has supplied the highest number of foreign jihadist fighters who joined ISIS in Syria, Libya and Iraq.
Tunisian extremists went in two waves, with the first between 2011 and 2013 after the Islamist Ennahda party won elections, and in 2013 to 2014, where the Ennahda party was suspected off sending the jihadists themselves to Syria, amid an acceleration in departures.
